Bachelor of Technology or B. Tech is a professional Engineering programme and can be studied after completion of plus two. Usually, the courses offered under B.Tech are regulated by the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ). From Electrical Engineering to Civil Engineering , you can pursue B. Tech in many disciplines of engineering studies. Here’s is what you need to know before opting for B. Tech: 1. The prerequisite of B. Tech is that you need to complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM subjects). You need to pass your 10+2 exams with at least 50%-60% marks from a recognized board. After that, you can prepare and sit for entrance exams. There are many private Engineering colleges who organize their own entrance examinations for admitting students. You can sit for any of them. Or, you can even pursue diploma if you have completed your 10th in Science. After completing your diploma (which is a 3 years
